1970 Bristol 32' Sloop
$20,000
(Port Orchard)
This is a beautiful classic design by Ted Hood, and built by the famed Bristol Yacht Company of Rhode Island, the 32’ sloop is a great choice for weekenders, club racers and “simply messing about in boats”. Just in time for 2021 Goosebumps Races on Lake Union.
The cabin has a very simple, clean and comfortable interior layout with a folding dining settee, custom vee berth mattress and plenty of storage spaces. Propane stove top and oven, a hand pump for freshwater and lots of sunlight and ventilation.
Sail handling is managed from the cockpit with new Lewmar sheet winches and tiller steering, and the ground tackle is more than adequate for a secluded overnight out in the Islands.
The sloop has a full boat cover for winter storage! She has been well cared for over the years, most recently by her former owner who has moved on to a larger Hans Christian. All the standing rigging was replaced and she was re-powered in the mid-90s with an economical diesel Volvo Penta. With her inventory onboard of five sails in good condition, she is all set to get you started on your summer adventures. All the standing rigging was recently replaced and she was re-powered in the 1994 with an economical diesel Volvo Penta.
